Sacred Rebellion is facilitated medicine work for people ready to close the gap between the self they perform and the self underneath it — held with clinical precision and an irreverent sense of humor, because both are medicine.
The Sacred Rebellion Method™ exists because most facilitation spaces are built on an unspoken rule: stay serious, stay soft, stay quiet about the parts of you that don’t fit the aesthetic.
That rule keeps people performing wellness instead of actually healing. So this work is built differently — combat-medicine-grade attention to safety, surgical-sales-grade clarity about what you’re actually buying, and a refusal to pretend the process has to look a certain way to be real.
You don’t need to perform anything here. Including reverence.
These aren’t a sequence you climb. They’re different kinds of work for different moments — pick the door that matches where you actually are, not where you think you should be.
For people who’ve lost the thread — burnout, disconnection, a sense that the life you built doesn’t match who you are anymore. Guided, individual medicine work focused on excavation: finding what got buried and why. Best for: a first deep journey, or returning after time away from the work.
For people who are functional, even successful, and still feel capped — aware that something in them is playing smaller than what they’re capable of. This track works the edge between competence and authenticity. Best for: high-functioning people ready to risk being seen.
For people at a real fork — a birthday, an ending, a decision that’s been circling for months. Threshold work is built for transitions: deliberately marking the line between who you were and who you’re becoming. Best for: milestone moments — not maintenance, a crossing.
An honest intake — not a form you fill out to get to the “real” part, but the actual start of the work. We name what you’re performing before we touch what’s underneath it.
Held with combat-medic-level attention to safety and nervous system state — and zero requirement that you be solemn, polished, or spiritually articulate to be doing it right.
The work that actually determines whether anything changes. Structured follow-up so insight doesn’t evaporate back into your old patterns by Thursday.
Chris spent over fifteen years in surgical and medical sales — DePuy Synthes Mitek, Vericel — before that, U.S. Army combat medicine. Both trained him in the same thing from different angles: how to read a body and a room under pressure, and how to tell the truth clearly when it matters most.
He brought that same precision into years of formal psychedelic facilitator training. What he found missing in most of that world was permission to be fully himself inside it — humor, irreverence, directness included. Sacred Rebellion is what facilitation looks like when that permission isn’t withheld.
“The work isn’t to become someone calmer, softer, more enlightened-looking. It’s to stop the performance entirely — including the spiritual one.”
— Chris Ryan, on the Sacred Rebellion MethodTell me where you actually are — not where you think you should be — and we’ll figure out which door fits.
